Raheema Muhammad-Kah
Regulatory Sciences
Raheema S. Muhammad-Kah, MSPH, serves as a Principal Scientist I, Population Science within the Regulatory Sciences organization of Altria Client Services (ALCS) in Richmond, VA. In this role, she leads the development, validation and implementation of population models to support our harm reduction, regulatory compliance and engagement strategies. She also provides population modeling and statistical expertise to determine the population health impact related to product standards, reduced risk products, and support for premarket and modified risk tobacco product application filings.
Dr. Muhammad-Kah has spent over a decade as a biostatistician in both public health and industrial settings. She has extensive experience in designing experiments, conducting various statistical analyses using an array of statistical methodologies, and modeling clinical, non-clinical, epidemiological and behavioral data. She has also built statistical and population modeling infrastructure to support regulatory science and engagement. Dr. Muhammad-Kah has authored several peer-reviewed publications and has presented at various scientific meetings. Her published work is related to population health modeling, tobacco exposure in humans and the science of tobacco use and health.
