Sydana Rogers Hollins, Ph.D., RAC serves as Senior Director of Analytical Sciences, Regulatory Sciences for Altria Client Services in Richmond, VA. In this role, she leads a team of scientists focused on the development and application of innovative analytical methods to support tobacco product applications, regulatory compliance, and scientific engagement. The team’s work includes building next-generation analytical capabilities using a broad range of advanced chromatographic, mass spectrometry, spectroscopy, materials characterization and USP dissolution technologies.

Previously, Dr. Rogers Hollins was Director, Regulatory Affairs, where she developed and implemented regulatory strategies for e-vapor products with a focus on the requirements needed for regulatory authorization of potentially reduced harm tobacco products.  In this role, she served as a principal interface with FDA and provided regulatory expertise to internal stakeholders on product regulatory compliance.

Dr. Rogers Hollins joined the Altria family of companies in 2003.  In prior roles she provided scientific leadership for a high-volume, ISO 17025 accredited analytical testing laboratory as well as a laboratory that provided novel solutions and technical expertise in materials, packaging and flavors analysis.  Her expertise in developing complex analytical methodologies was instrumental in her laboratory being able to generate scientific data needed to support state and federal compliance obligations.  Dr. Rogers Hollins also led a team responsible for preparing domestic and international product-related regulatory submissions.  She was also responsible for creating regulatory and product strategy for potential regulation.
