ALCS Analytical Sciences is responsible for providing laboratory based information that is suitable for supporting business decisions. One of our goals is to provide accurate, and of known quality, Harmful and Potentially Harmful Constituents (HPHC) data in our submissions to FDA, for all regulated tobacco products.
ALCS Analytical Sciences supports and encourages active engagement with stakeholders to create and maintain a system for achieving this goal. In the spirit of engagement, we will be sharing our analytical methods on this website to foster consensus standardized methods, a key component of accurate analytical methodologies.
In addition, our scientists actively participate in organizations that are devoted to developing and improving standardized methods relevant to our business. These organizations include the International Organization of Standardization (ISO), the Cooperation Centre for Scientific Research Relative to Tobacco (CORESTA) and the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). We also encourage our scientists to present their findings at national and international scientific conferences. You can learn more about our work by visiting the presentations and publications pages in our library.
