Scientific Leadership on Display at TSRC 2026

From analytical chemistry to population health, Altria scientists brought multidisciplinary research to the forefront at the 79th Tobacco Science Research Conference.

The research presented by Altria scientists spanned the full spectrum of tobacco and nicotine science, from aerosol characterization, nicotine pharmacokinetics, inhalation toxicology, and innovative analytical methods to product behavioral studies, tobacco use surveillance, and population health modeling. Collectively, these presentations explored topics including nicotine pouches, e-vapor products, youth tobacco use measurement, and approaches to maximizing the potential public health impact of tobacco harm reduction.

This body of work reflects Altria's commitment to advancing rigorous, multidisciplinary science that improves product understanding, informs evidence-based regulatory decision-making, and contributes to the growing body of research on smoke-free products.
